9/11 Memorial Opens to the Public

Ten years after the ill-fated terrorist attacks on the twin towers in New York, the United States are slowly getting back on their feet. With several construction projects in the making to help commemorate those lost in the attacks, the first official memorial opens to the public today for all to see. Families who had lost loved ones on that day were invited yesterday, before it opened, to go see it, and many claimed it gave them "chills" at how powerful the whole memorial felt.
