Jonesboro Shooting

What happened?

Two boys, one 11 and one 13, planned out a school shooting on MArch 24th, 1998. One of the boys by the name of Andrew Golden had asked to be excused for class. Once he was released he pulled the fire alarm and ran off to hide with the other boy, Mitchell Johnson, in the woods. Once all the staff and students were evactuated out of the building the boys open fired on them, killing four students and one teacher in the process; and additional ten children were injured in the process. When their stolen van was searched, officials found thirteen fully loaded firearms as well as numerous hunting weapons.

Who did it?

An 11-year-old by the name of Andrew Golden and a 13-year-old by the name of Mitchell Johnson.

Why?

Nobody knows!

I would most likely do this story from an angle that focuses on the victims, to sort of show what their lives were like before they got killed. I think this angle would bring sympathy from the public, and perhaps make the two boys convicted feel guilty.
